11 of November Performance

To celebrate the anniversary of independence, I had the opportunity to appear in the play directed by Sister Bogna Zagórska. I recited the beautiful poem "Black Dress" by Konstanty Krasiński.

Rijksmuseum is located in Amsterdam and consists many art pieced of numerous artists from various ages. I really enjoyed the portrait of the young girl in blue dress. I was also very excited when I found out that there is a dress designed by Yves Saint Laurent in 1965. It was inspired by other work of art, the series of paintings of Piet Mondrian. The simple form was broken by the yellow square. This experience developed my knowledge about art and became the inspiration for my own designs.

We exchanged knowledge about education system, everyday habits and traditions and ways of spending free time.  Firstly, we got to know the history of Roma people, as well as their traditions and some names of things used by them. We also found out their view on culture of other nations and how they treat it. That day I learned that their culture is very important for them. Being discriminated, they have two ways: they can adapt to the society where they live and forget about some of their traditions or become marginalised, what would lead to difficulty with finding a job, thereby it would be harder for them to have a decent life.
